All 3 students were preparing for their Academic IELTS tests in order to complete their NMC or GMC registration process so that they could fulfil their dream of furthering their medical careers in the UK.

After joining iPass less than 3 months ago they have surpassed the IELTS requirements with excellent results and can now focus fully on their careers and we wish them even more success in the future.

EFL Magazine Interview

Last month I was interviewed for EFL Magazine, a popular magazine for English language teachers, which has a regular monthly feature called 'Phil interviews'.

Phil, who also manages our IELTS facebook page and has been an iPass contributor for several years, asked me various questions related to IELTS: how online learning compares to traditional classroom teaching; what I would like to change about the test, and even my thoughts on Brexit and its possible impact on IELTS!

iPass student of the month

Our August student of the month is Suganya from India.

Suganya signed up for our IELTS speaking + writing course to help her improve from Band 6 to Band 7, the language requirement needed for her NMC registration to work as a nurse in the UK.

Even after 5 previous attempts, Suganya was determined not to give up. After completing her iPass course, she took the test for a sixth time, finally getting band 7 in both writing and speaking with an overall 7.5!
