What's new this month?

IELTS Test Tips - what's your top tip?

Check out the iPass blog for some excellent tips for the IELTS Speaking and Writing tests. These tips have been provided by our fantastic team of IELTS tutors, but maybe you've been studying for IELTS for a while and have some excellent tips of your own.

Or maybe you've taken the IELTS test already and have some last-minute study tips or important advice about what you should or shouldn't do on the day of the exam.

We'd love you to share your tips with us so that we can add them to the blog for others to read. Just post them in the comments boxes or send them to us at info@ipassielts.com

Student of the Month - Asha from India

Asha first joined iPass in March 2017 with the intention of taking the IELTS test in June. He needed high scores for Canadian immigration: band 8 in Listening and a minimum of band 7 in the other 3 tests.

His results were good but with a 6.5 in Writing it wasn't enough so he had to take the test again. Determined to crack the IELTS test the second time, Asha enrolled on two more writing courses and practised continuously until he was consistently producing essays and letters that were band 7 level.

Finally, confident in his ability to get the desired scores he took the test again last February and came out with a 7.5 in Writing + Reading; 8.5 in Listening and 7 in Speaking - the scores he needed to go to Canada!

In English we say......."where there's a will, there's a way" and Asha is living proof that if at first you don't succeed, try....try again and you'll get there in the end!
